SWS Signage were an engaged and established client of Zimple Digital’s in a digital marketing capacity, which is where the need for the website redevelopment arose. The brief was to create and establish a strong digital presence to support the already sound business and overarching digital strategy as a whole. The need for this was identified to push the SWS Signage digital marketing strategies to industry leading standards and beyond.
The SWS Signage business relies heavily on the aesthetically pleasing nature of their signs to push the majority of revenue for their business. Zimple Digital was engaged to create a healthy balance of aesthetically pleasing imagery to portray their high-quality work but also keep in line with a strategic mind-frame to position the website for success from a digital marketing standpoint.
Zimple Digital worked closely with the Director of SWS Signage to ensure we positioned the business as experts in their field. This project required the collaboration of account management, design, development and digital marketing teams to ensure the smooth completion of a website that worked as a well-oiled, digital marketing machine.
Zimple Digital completed specific research surrounding key industry competitors and leaders in the design space prior to the kick-off of this project. We worked closely with the client to form a strong relationship which would become the catalyst for the success of this project moving forward.
Essential feedback was received by the Director of the business at key milestone design meetings to ensure the project outcomes were achieved every step of the way. During content upload the client worked closely with account management to ensure they were trained and understood the full capability of their new custom website and CMS.
Zimple Digital headed the overarching design concept and provided a heavy influence on the quality of imagery needed to really make this website engaging to users.
The solution provided by Zimple Digital was to create a website which incorporated high quality visual content, with a healthy balance of written content to create optimum performance from an SEO standpoint. The sites architecture, load times and user experience were considered throughout the design and development processes in order to increase their organic presence from launch.
We worked with SWS Signage to positively position each of their key business points being LED Signage, overall Products and Pubs & Clubs. We positioned a number of different image galleries throughout the site and utilised a mega menu to ensure the user could navigate quickly and freely throughout the website. We incorporated these visual design aspects with development integrations to ensure for multiple filtering systems in the image galleries and a smooth and easy to operate CMS for the client. Key points and content for all industries and products that SWS Signage offer were considered throughout the entire design and build.
We also ensured to include a projects case study section where the client could optimise on-site content and really sell what projects and products the business can produce. These projects outlined key imagery, copy and testimonials from real life clients which would position SWS Signage as a trustworthy and quality business.
The newly developed SWS Signage website promoted a dramatic growth in traffic numbers, conversions and engagement. The website saw a 110% increase in conversions during the first month preceding the website launch alone and an 82% increase in website traffic. This successfully achieved key objectives and positioned the client as an industry leader in the Newcastle market.
